    PREPARE TO ENTER

    Preparations are under way for the FM's 2006 AdFocus survey, in which the country's advertising agencies are analysed, ranked and rated.

    The process culminates in an awards ceremony in early May at which SA's top agencies are honoured.

    Next year just three major awards will be given - ad agency of the year, media agency, and branding and design agency. The competition is run in association with the SABC.

    All Southern African agencies are invited to enter. Entry forms can be downloaded from www.adfocus.co.za.

    As well as the submission form, agencies are asked to provide a detailed overview and motivation on how they should be rated. The submission should also include two pieces of work conceptualised and used in the past 12 months. For our prejudging to take place, completed entry forms are needed by January 31 2006.
