    Rage over Bryanston cells

    Zamani Jali, via e-mail

I refer to Kerron Edmunson's letter "Is this a genuine diamond?" (February 26). I have lived in Bryanston since 2007 and have two cellphone contracts with Vodacom (one personal and the other through my company).

To say the least, the cellphone numbers attaching to these contracts become useless once I get home, because of poor network coverage.

This has been the case ever since I first came to live in Bryanston.

I have submitted many complaints to the service provider.

The response, in short, is that they are doing something about it, that is, erecting a tower which should alleviate the situation.

This is probably the experience of every Vodacom customer who lives in Bryanston. The company does not seem to understand that continual apologies and explanations are no good for customer and supplier alike.

I am hoping that more of those who experience this misfortune could find a way of strongly placing this matter at Vodacom's door.

My suggestion is that we collectively approach Icasa. Mail me at zamani.jali@tcsfuel.co.za.
